Our journey

Here is our running travel itinerary. Our travel plans are quite flexible and we often change our destinations and dates, however here is a rough plan below.

PART ONE: SPAIN

March 2017: left home for Spain, driving through Holland, France and Spain.

April - June 2017: El Chorro Olive Branch camp. We volunteered here, in exchange for free accommodation and cheap food. El Chorro is famous rock-climbing destination, and we did lots of rock climbing there.

June-July 2017: Siurana camping. We spent a few weeks here camping and rock climbing. We had friends visit, and did little trips into the mountains and surrounding cities.

August 2017: We mostly spent running away from the heat, so ended up in various villages in the Pyrenees where the temperatures were slightly lower.

September 2017: we went to a friend's wedding in Greece, Crete.

Mid-Sep 2017: return to the UK for a few weeks of a break, and stayed with our respective parents.

PART ONE 1/2: UK & EASTERN EUROPE

September 2017: London & Wales. We stayed at home with our respective parents; I in London and Nadia in Wales. I stayed with Nadia in Wales for two weeks.

October 2017: The Baltics. We did a two-week Baltic tour, visiting Lithuania, Russia and Latvia.

PART TWO: SOUTH-EAST ASIA

November 2017: Laos, Thailand. In Laos we are going to a climbers camp in a remote part of the country for ten days. We are then coming back to Thailand and staying in Chiang Mai for a week. And finally we are going to volunteer at a retreat in Chiang Rai for three weeks.

December 2017: Thailand, Krabi & islands. We are moving down to the south in time for Christmas & NYE.

January 2018: (tbc) Cambodia & Vietnam. We are likely going to book onto a tour across Cambodia and Vietnam. At the end of the month we are planning to visit a friend in Singapore.

February - March 2018: (tbc) Bali, Indonesia, New Zealand. We are planning to book into a one-week surfing camp in Bali. Then we are heading to New Zealand.

April 2018: (tbc) USA. A friend will meet us in the US and take us on a rock-climbing/camping road trip for 2-3 weeks across a few states. We will finish our trip in New York.

May 2018: home.
